Nutritional Standards

nutrition standardsAll Assisted Living Facilities in the State of Washington are required to provide “palatable, attractively served meals and nourishments that meet the current recommended dietary allowances established by the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Research Council”. Our Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist reviews the Rosewood Villa menu every six months, assessing the following according to the allowances established to provide optimal nutrition: Protein; Calcium; Vitamin C and A;  Calorie Content. It is our priority that Rosewood Villa residents experience food that not only meets these guidelines to create healthful, balanced meals, but meals that please the pallet and residents look forward to. Rosewood Villa’s dietary staff continuously works to accommodate our resident’s culinary requests and special dietary needs.
