Rosewood Villa offers a variety of fun pastimes and new and engaging activities for all to enjoy. Aside from fun outings, Rosewood develops a variety of ever-changing events for residents to participate in daily, all in the comfort of their home at Rosewood Villa. We continuously research new activities and develop our favorites for innovative and fresh activities.
“We are all learning, all the time. I think that is my favorite thing about playing and teaching here at Rosewood. I learn from the residents just as much as I teach them.” – Activity Director, Amy Loos.
One of Rosewood Villa’s most anticipated events is the annual car show, “Rumble at the Villa”. Over 30 cars brought in by local volunteers crowd the parking lot every July for a festive summer event, complete with a BBQ lunch and fresh lemonade.
The Whatcom County Library also visits monthly. Library Representative, Colleen, comes to learn about residents’ interests pertaining to books, music, movies, and other resources available through the library. Books, CD’s and other items are conveniently delivered to Rosewood Villa the following month.
Monthly calendars are included in the resident newsletter so that community members can mark their calendars and keep up to date with all the fun things happening at Rosewood Villa.
Our dietary staff works daily to make each dining experience delicious and enjoyable. Once a year, the Rosewood Villa family comes together for an “above and beyond” Holiday Dinner, when families and dear friends join their loved ones in their home at Rosewood Villa for wonderful cuisine and festive decor. A favorite event among residents, their families, and the Rosewood Villa staff, the annual Holiday Dinner is a greatly anticipated event every year, where special memories are made.
